Old Dog, New Tricks...

Hello awesome people! For today's outfit I added some new tricks to an old outfit. I'm wearing my favorite sweater with my favorite booties that I jazzed up with my new found hair and nail abilities. I've been doing different variations of the french braid and I've found this to be the easiest! I've always been able to do the regular french braid but never thought to just make one on the side!...We'll I wanted to make sure I made up for the lost time and I figured I owed this outfit a good one!
And these are my Ombre nails! After my post on nail art I decided I wanted to try a couple of the techniques I love. I started with the Ombre look because I came across a couple of easy-to-follow You Tube tutorials that made me feel pretty confident. It took me a couple of tries and I pretty bad mess...but I'm so happy with the results! I can't wait to try it with other colors! But for my next mission.....Aztec prints!! I'll be reporting back!
And this is a behind the scenes look of my little shoot...My husband/photographer is very patient with me <3

  4. Love the shoes. I have been in love with studs, but I don't own anything that's studded. Sad day, I know. And great job with the ombre nails. I wish I had the patience and skill to do that to mine.

  6. I'm jealous of anyone who can french braid their own hair. I'm completely incapable of doing it on myself, and believe me, I've watched like hours of Youtube tutorials.

Big fan of the ombre nails!
